Photo Walk Fridays: Pennings Farm Market

Pennings Farm Market is one of my favorite places to go in Warwick. It's just 15 minutes from our house and has everything you could ever want. Fantastic locally grown and produced food, a menu of sandwiches and salads, a place for the kids to play, animals to feed, a garden center, apple picking and seasonal delights. It's where we go to get our Xmas Tree and after we have hiked the Appalachian Trail. See the bottom of the post for some of my favorite things to buy at Pennings.

Things to Get When You Are There

NY State Catskills Raw Alfalfa Honey: This honey (pictured above) is pure gold. It is so delicious you will never want grocery store honey again.

The Pennings bakery is outstanding, be sure to try the apple cider donuts, harvest bread and the apple pie. Yum.

Griggstown Farm Chicken Pot Pie: They bring in this local pot pie, also in beef and turkey, which is delicious. Find it in the freezers along with organic meats.

Apples! Pennings is also an Orchard with apple picking in the Fall, but they stock apples all year round.

Pennings Orchard and Farm Market: Get directions and find out everything they have to offer.

If you are local, do you love Pennings as much as I do? If you live somewhere else, do you have a local year-round Farmer's Market you can visit and support?
