Late in the afternoon Quinn and I head down to the end of our dirt road to meet Milo as he gets off the bus. It might be Quinn's favorite part of the day. He loves to play in the dirt and throw rocks into the water puddles at the side of the road. Just look at that face! He's having so much fun.
I shot the seed pods on my iPhone, but I wanted to capture them with my Canon DSLR too. There was something very beautiful about them being back lit and the trees behind them creating a great texture. I love the end result with these pictures! The light at the end of the day is so magical, especially in the winter when there are no leaves on the trees and it just streams through. Just look at the rim light around Quinn's gloves! It's like they are glowing.
